WishCare Warranty Terms and Conditions – V0.2
By purchasing products with the WishCare Warranty, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Coverage Scope
- The WishCare Warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects in the product during the warranty period.
- This warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage or wear and tear caused by accidental drops, mishandling, or misuse.
- Damage caused by exposure to water, liquids, or environmental factors.
- Issues resulting from third-party repairs, modifications, or software tampering.
- Problems caused by improper usage, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.
- Cosmetic damages, such as scratches, dents, or discoloration.
- Consumables such as batteries, chargers, cables, or other accessories unless explicitly stated.
- Software-related malfunctions, updates, or compatibility issues.
2. Warranty Period and Activation
- The warranty is valid for a duration of 6 months to 1 year, as specified at the time of purchase.
- The warranty is automatically activated upon purchase, and no additional registration is required unless specified otherwise.
3. Geographical Coverage
- The WishCare Warranty is applicable only within Sri Lanka.
4. Claim Process and Duration
- To make a warranty claim, the customer must:
- Present the original invoice or proof of purchase.
- Return the product in its original condition, with all included accessories, packaging, and documentation.
- Warranty Claim Duration: The processing of claims, including repairs or replacements, will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks from the date of submission.
- Claims without valid proof of purchase or falsified information will not be entertained and will result in cancellation of the warranty.
5. Repair or Replacement Policy
- Wish.lk reserves the right to repair or replace the defective product at its discretion.
- If a replacement is provided, it may be a pre owned / Authorized refurbished / Brand new of the same model.
- Replacement Warranty Period: The warranty for the replacement unit will continue under the remaining warranty period of the original product.
6. Exclusions and Limitations
- The warranty is non-transferable and is valid only for the original purchaser whose details are registered at the time of purchase.
- The warranty does not cover:
- Loss or theft of the product.
- Issues caused by third-party repairs, applications, or usage errors.
- If spare parts are no longer available for discontinued models, Wish.lk reserves the right to offer a similar replacement or a refund.
- Customers are not responsible for shipping costs related to warranty claims unless otherwise specified.
7. Inspection Fees
- If the product is found to be ineligible for warranty service, an inspection or diagnosis fee may apply. Customers will be notified in advance.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Wish.lk is not liable for:
- Loss of data, software, or personal content on the device.
- Indirect damages, including loss of business, profits, or personal inconvenience.
- Customers are encouraged to back up their data before submitting the product for warranty service.
9. Changes to Terms
- Wish.lk reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions of WishCare at any time without prior notice.
